What is Anime Food Lab?

Anime Food Lab is a fan-made recipe site run by Pierre Le Maguer from France. I recreate iconic dishes from Naruto, Spy x Family, Studio Ghibli, Food Wars, Demon Slayer, and Dungeon Meshi using real Japanese home-cooking techniques — not fantasy shortcuts.

Every recipe includes honest prep times, a serving scaler, ingredient and equipment guides, and links to the anime scene that inspired the dish. Start with our featured recipes below, browse by show or category, or jump straight to a popular search.

Real recipes, real Japanese cooking

Anime Food Lab exists to bridge the gap between the meals you see on screen and the ones you can actually make. Every recipe is grounded in authentic Japanese home cooking.

Pierre Le Maguer tests each dish at home, writes honest difficulty notes, and pairs every recipe with ingredient and equipment guides. This is a fan-made tribute — not affiliated with any studio. About the site.
